Exploring the global impact of gold from its deep earth origins to its cultural and economic significance.
I had the pleasure of being onboard as Drone Operator for the production of ‘Gold’, shooting on location in a remote part of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Working with an amazing team at Pioneer Productions we travelled from London to Uganda and then onwards into Kibali in the north eastern region of DRC. We captured sequences to explore gold’s meaning and contribution to societies and economies the world over. Flying with the DJI Mavic 3 we captured some incredible drone sequences and saw some amazing sights in this hard to reach location.
