I had the pleasure of being aboard as drone operator for the production of ‘Gold’, shooting on location in a remote part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Working with a Pioneer Production we travelled from London to Uganda and then onwards on small aircraft into Kibali in north eastern region of DRC.We captured sequences to explain gold’s meaning and contribution to societies and economies the world over. Flying with the DJI Mavic 3 and captured some incredible drone sequences for the programme and saw some amazing sights across the region.
